Strategy
- 1
Melee her under Piety
Her 600 Magic defence makes maging her a trap — bring a Scythe (or crush) and keep Piety on. Flick your overhead to match her current attack animation as she rotates styles.
- 2
Swap to magic for the totems
Each time you break her shield, stop attacking her and charge the four corner totems with a magic weapon — they take double magic damage. Three totem blasts (800 each) finish her 2,400 HP.
Key mechanics
What can kill you at The Nightmare, and what to do about it. For the full breakdown, see the OSRS Wiki link below.
Rotating attack styles
She cycles melee (slash), ranged and magic — praying the wrong overhead takes 20% extra damage, so flick to match her current animation.
Shield & totem phase
After her shield breaks you must charge the four corner totems; when all four fire they deal 800 to her. Totems take double damage from magic, so a mage switch is effectively required.
Parasite sleepwalkers
At each power-down phase, kill the parasite sleepwalkers before they reach and heal the boss, and step off the spore tiles that spawn under players.

These figures are an independent-roll estimate: they treat every kill as a separate roll at the listed rate ( 1 − (1 − p)KC). Real drops can involve guaranteed rolls, point/invocation scaling or completion rewards, so the true odds may differ. A probability is never a guarantee — even far above 90%, the drop is never owed to you. Drops without a fixed 1/Nrate show “—”.
