Terms of Service

By accessing or using ScapePath(the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

ScapePath provides informational tools, guides and personalized recommendations for Old School RuneScape players. You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial gameplay planning. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may limit or suspend access if the Service is misused.

• Provide accurate information when you create an account or link a character.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Only link Old School RuneScape names that you are entitled to use.
• Comply with these terms and with Jagex’s own rules for Old School RuneScape.

ScapePath’s recommendations, rankings, gp/hr figures, XP rates, time estimates and gear suggestions are guidance, not guarantees. They are generated from community-sourced data and models, and real results vary with your account, efficiency, game updates and live Grand Exchange prices. XP-table math is exact; most other outputs are estimates. Always use your own judgement, and treat ScapePath as a planning aid rather than an authoritative source.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy or redistribute the Service’s content or data at scale without permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or violate Jagex’s terms.
• Interfere with advertising, security or other technical measures on the site.
• Submit malicious, abusive, or deliberately false content through our forms.

Some features let you create content — goals, planner setups, community names and goals, a profile and bio, and the messages you send us. You keep ownership of what you create. By submitting it, you grant ScapePath the permission needed to store and display it in order to operate those features (for example, showing a community goal to its members). You are responsible for your content, it must not be unlawful, abusive or infringing, and we may remove content or restrict a feature if it breaches these terms.

The ScapePath name, branding, original written guides, layout, and the code and design of the Service are owned by ScapePath and protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce them without our permission.

“Old School RuneScape”, “RuneScape”, and related names, images and content are trademarks and property of Jagex Ltd. ScapePathis an unofficial fan-made tool and claims no ownership over Jagex’s intellectual property. Game data referenced on the Service is used to help players and remains the property of its respective owners.

ScapePath is intended to be supported by advertising to keep it free to use, and we have integrated Google AdSense for that purpose. AdSense approval is still pending, so ads are not currently being served. If and when advertising becomes active, how the related data and cookies are handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information or recommendation will be accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScapePath and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or in-game losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including decisions made in reliance on its recommendations. The Service is free to use, and your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.

ScapePath is an independent, fan-made project. It is not created by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Jagex Ltd. Old School RuneScape is a trademark of Jagex Ltd.

You can stop using ScapePath at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data through our contact page (see the Privacy Policy for how requests are handled). We may suspend or end access to the Service, in whole or in part, if it is misused or to protect the Service and its users. Terms that by their nature should survive — such as intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability — continue to apply after access ends.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
