Compete
ScapePath Events
Pick a challenge, play normally, and ScapePath tracks your progress from the moment the event starts — never your lifetime total. Compete for Journey XP.
How Events work
Events are time-boxed community challenges built around OSRS skills and bosses. A Skill of the Month ranks players by the experience they gain in one skill; a Boss of the Month ranks them by the kills they rack up at one boss. Each event is a fresh, level playing field — whether you're a new account or a maxed veteran.
Taking part is opt-in. When an event is active you join it, and ScapePath snapshots your current XP or KC as your baseline. From then on it measures only what you gain during the event — your lifetime total never counts, so everyone starts from the same zero.
Progress is read automatically from your public RuneScape Hiscores and refreshed for you — no manual reporting. Some events are scheduled ahead of time and show a countdown to their start; active events show live progress and rankings; completed events preserve their final standings and rewards for posterity.
Events can award Journey XP — configured per event, so not every challenge offers the same prizes. When rewards are set they can include 1st, 2nd and 3rd-place placements plus a participation reward for everyone who competed. That Journey XP is part of your existing ScapePath Journey, and the training itself still counts toward your skill goals — an event is simply a reason to focus a grind you were going to do anyway.
