Strategy

  1. 1

    Points earn the loot

Your unique chance comes from participation points — damage, skilling, storage and puzzles all count. Contribute across the raid and don't die (dying costs 40% of your points).

  2. 2

    Bring all three styles

Rooms and the Olm demand melee, ranged and magic — you can't specialise. Ranged and magic carry most of the raid; a melee spec weapon helps on Tekton and the Olm.

  3. 3

    Challenge Mode later

Once regular raids feel comfortable, Challenge Mode raises enemy stats with a static layout for metamorphic dust and cosmetic speed rewards.

Key mechanics

What can kill you at Chambers of Xeric, and what to do about it. For the full breakdown, see the OSRS Wiki link below.

  • Team scaling

Every enemy's stats scale to team size, so a solo raid plays very differently from a team — set the scaling deliberately for the size you're running.

  • The Great Olm — hands

Olm's two hands cycle crystal, lightning and flame phases, each needing a different response — disable or damage them per phase before the head becomes vulnerable.

  • The Great Olm — specials & head

Between phases Olm throws teleport portals, fire walls, crystal bombs, healing pools and a prayer-drain; the final head phase is the DPS check — learn it before pushing hard.
