Strategy

  1. 1

    Stun, then damage

Open each kill by disabling the four respiratory systems and stunning the Sire's head so it can't attack while you build damage. A demonbane weapon speeds it up (it's a demon).

  2. 2

    Keep anti-venom up

Its miasma poisons — bring anti-venom and expect to reposition constantly rather than stand still.

Key mechanics

What can kill you at Abyssal Sire, and what to do about it. For the full breakdown, see the OSRS Wiki link below.

  • Miasma pools

It spawns poisonous fumes under you (a 3x3 AoE that poisons from ~8) — keep moving off them and stay anti-venomed.

  • Final explosion

Below ~210 HP it detonates for heavy damage (up to ~96) — DPS it down and step well away before the blast lands.

  • Melee proximity

Its melee hits hard (up to ~66) if you stand adjacent while it's active — attack from range/keep it stunned rather than trading melee.

These figures are an independent-roll estimate: they treat every kill as a separate roll at the listed rate ( 1 − (1 − p)KC). Real drops can involve guaranteed rolls, point/invocation scaling or completion rewards, so the true odds may differ. A probability is never a guarantee — even far above 90%, the drop is never owed to you. Drops without a fixed 1/Nrate show “—”.
