Should you fight this?

What you get out of Vorkath, so you can decide if it fits your goals right now.

  • Consistent ~3.6m gp/hr with almost no downtime once learned.
  • No team or minigame reward economy needed — pure solo.
  • Superior dragon bones + scales make it a Prayer training feeder.
  • A natural stepping stone before raids and higher-end PvM.

How to get there

The best ways to reach Vorkath in Ungael. Requirements are checked against your account on the readiness panel above.

Recommended
  1. 1Get to Rellekka (e.g. Rellekka/Enchanted lyre teleport or fairy ring).
  2. 2Speak to Torfinn at the third dock from the west and choose Ungael.
  3. 3On Ungael, climb over the ice chunks into the crater.

Strategy

  1. 1

    Prep the trip

Bring anti-venom+ (or your antipoison), a super antifire, ranging potions, prayer restores and a Crumble Undead rune loadout. Range from max distance to reduce incoming damage.

  2. 2

    Woox-walk for max DPS

During the acid phase, experienced players 'woox-walk' — attacking on the same tick as each step to keep full DPS while dodging the pools. Learn it once the fight feels comfortable.

Key mechanics

What can kill you at Vorkath, and what to do about it. For the full breakdown, see the OSRS Wiki link below.

  • Dragonfire

Vorkath's dragonfire hits hard through unprotected gear — keep a super antifire (or antifire + an anti-dragon/dragonfire shield) active for the whole fight.

  • Zombified Spawn

An icy breath freezes you, then a spawn appears ~10 tiles away — kill it instantly (Crumble Undead is ideal) before it reaches you, or it heals Vorkath.

  • Acid phase

Acid pools flood the arena while dragonfire rains down — keep walking (never run) on the clean tiles and attack between steps.

  • Fireball special

A white fireball drops on your tile for massive damage and antifire does not block it — step two tiles away as soon as you see it.

  • Prayer-disabling dragonfire

One dragonfire attack switches off your prayers on impact — set quick-prayers so you can flick them back on instantly.

These figures are an independent-roll estimate: they treat every kill as a separate roll at the listed rate ( 1 − (1 − p)KC). Real drops can involve guaranteed rolls, point/invocation scaling or completion rewards, so the true odds may differ. A probability is never a guarantee — even far above 90%, the drop is never owed to you. Drops without a fixed 1/Nrate show “—”.
