Should you fight this?

What you get out of Hespori, so you can decide if it fits your goals right now.

  • A Farming-skill boss that rewards a distinct, non-combat progression path.
  • The Bottomless compost bucket is a hugely convenient farming quality-of-life unlock.
  • Anima seeds (Attas/Iasor/Kronos) and the Tangleroot pet are exclusive drops.

Gear setups

Melee
Low threat — it has low slash defence, so a scimitar or whip is ideal. Low-level players can instead exploit its 100% fire weakness with Fire spells (59 Magic for Fire Blast). Bring a spade.

Strategy

  1. 1

    Plant and return

Plant a Hespori seed in the Farming Guild patch; it grows over a cycle and can then be fought.

  2. 2

    Break the buds to attack

Hespori is invulnerable while its four flower buds are up (at the start and again at 66% and 33% HP) — each bud has 10 HP and dies in one hit, so pop them, then resume damage.

Key mechanics

What can kill you at Hespori, and what to do about it. For the full breakdown, see the OSRS Wiki link below.

  • Invulnerability buds

Four buds shield it at the start, 66% and 33% HP while it keeps attacking — destroy all four (10 HP each) to make it attackable again.

  • Entangle special

It roots you in place for a few seconds and hits 40+ — click rapidly to break free sooner. It's immune to poison, venom and cannons.

These figures are an independent-roll estimate: they treat every kill as a separate roll at the listed rate ( 1 − (1 − p)KC). Real drops can involve guaranteed rolls, point/invocation scaling or completion rewards, so the true odds may differ. A probability is never a guarantee — even far above 90%, the drop is never owed to you. Drops without a fixed 1/Nrate show “—”.
