Pyramid Plunder
The fastest Thieving XP in the game, room by room
A solo Thieving minigame in the Jalsavrah pyramid at Sophanem. You have five minutes to loot as many rooms as your Thieving level allows, each deeper room paying more. From the mid-70s it's the fastest Thieving XP available, with the Pharaoh's sceptre as the chase reward.

Why do Pyramid Plunder?
- Best Thieving XP/hr in the game once you can reach the higher rooms.
- The Pharaoh's sceptre is a genuinely useful teleport item and a nice chase drop.
- Artefacts stack into decent gp on top of the XP.
How it works
Each of the eight rooms gates on Thieving level (21, 31, 41, 51, 61, 71, 81, 91) and can't be boosted. Loot urns, chests, sarcophagi and grand gold chests, then take the tomb door deeper before the five-minute timer runs out. Deeper rooms hold more valuable artefacts and better sceptre odds.

Tips & common mistakes
- Only loot the sarcophagus and grand gold chest in your final room — the timer matters more than every urn.
- Bring stamina/energy management; you're running the pyramid on repeat.
- Watch for the mummy and swarms; getting stunned burns your five minutes.
Who should do this?
